Eg Lercä Lehc (/zɪ̘/ /lɪ̘c/ [navy blue] [shrimp]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Qaqizo County, Dähechanxya Kingdom, within the United Kingdom of Undermountain.

The name Eg Lercä Lehc is derived from the Dwarven language, as Eg Lercä Lehc was founded by Belthel Raycqug, who was culturaly Dwarvern.

Climate

Eg Lercä Lehc has a yearly average temperature of 15°C (59°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 24°C (75°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 6°C (42°F). Overview

Eg Lercä Lehc was founded durring the early 11th century, by Belthel Raycqug. The establishment of Eg Lercä Lehc was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Belthel Raycqug struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Eg Lercä Lehc as a prison colony.

Eg Lercä Lehc was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Eg Lercä Lehc is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Eg Lercä Lehc is buildings folow an organic layout of premissive cobblestone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Eg Lercä Lehc's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Eg Lercä Lehc's political statment focused walls has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Eg Lercä Lehc has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Cultural Notes

Eg Lercä Lehc's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

In Eg Lercä Lehc snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Eg Lercä Lehc was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Eg Lercä Lehc lost 186 people, 232 livestock, and 30 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 70, when members of Eg Lercä Lehc's militia enacted an operation to rescue a specific hero from the enemy. The operation was complicated by the officers in charge fight among themselves, weakening the army as a whole. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in victory for Eg Lercä Lehc's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Eg Lercä Lehc's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
